The loss sucks. We get it. But it's genuinely not close to the biggest hole ISU has had at PG in as little as 3 years.

As for Hunter? He's gone, so spare us the whole thing about how tough he is/incredible he is defensively. We all know how he did this year in this system. We'll see how he does in the future when he's more likely to get asked to guard an opponent's best player and maybe not on a team that is so cohesive on defense and scrambles so well. I'm guessing he's really good, but that's not the point.
We're ISU.... so it will for sure be KU... and he'll beat us twice next year while having huge games in both as well... just mark it down.

Agreed. I'm expecting shooting like he did against LSU.
I do think Williams could end up being a pretty good defender at the PG next year though so who knows?
of ******* course Texas and KU. Personally I’m hoping he goes to Texas because that school can make anyone in any sport mediocre these days. Hell it would just make perfect sense: turncoat coach goes to rival school for big $$$. Hunter will be a great fit there.
That sure seems like a different scenario though. He played four years there, and moved up to a better conference. Hunter did neither of those.
That he's transferring is really disappointing. If it's KU or UT, worse yet. I'm sure he will be booed viciously during Hilton visits.
Based on these qualities, demonstrated last season, he'll respond with his best basketball. It will only motivate him.

Rooting for Purdue, too. Really need a point guard the most. All I know is I think Gonzaga, KU, and Purdue lost their starting point guards so I pick one of those 3. I realize it's the only college uniform he's worn, but dang.....cant stand to see those twitter graphics when they list the teams considering while they flash the uniform of the team they are leaving. Ugh.

If he does go to KU or Tx Cyclone Alley needs to get some fans set up then we he goes to shoot his 1st set of free throws they shoot up a whole bunch of fake dollar bills into the air. Who cares if a few drift on the court and we pick up a T it would be worth it.
How ironic would it be if he commits to KU, then later this summer they get put on probation . . . . like that will ever happen.
Who gives a ****, they shouldn't be showing that graphic with him in an ISU jersey either.
