Couple of TEs off the board already this round - hope to see Kolar soon.ESPN prepared a list of the best remaining 261 players in the NFL draft ahead of draft rounds 4 through 7. Heres where the ISU players sit on that list:
#8 - Eyioma Uwazurike
#19 - Charlie Kolar
#90 - Mike Rose
#217 - Chase Allen
#255 - Andrew Mevis
#256 - Brock Purdy
I imagine arm strength and decision making are knocks against him. What happened to Purdy that he dropped so far? Thought he was almost a lock to get drafted.
Welp, two Tight Ends have already gone before him in this round. Here we go with the 4th Round hopefully Kolar gets his named called this round.
We overvalued him. He has no slam dunk nfl skills but a lot of really above average college skills. What happened to Purdy that he dropped so far? Thought he was almost a lock to get drafted.

Purdy has a weak arm, bad throwing mechanics, not a great decision maker and not accurate with the football over 15 yards. He’ll get an invite to a camp but that’s all the farther he’ll make it.What happened to Purdy that he dropped so far? Thought he was almost a lock to get drafted.

They already drafted a TEWhoa! Let's go, Eyioma!
To add: I had to laugh, because I thought there was a stong possibility for Charlie in this slot since they lost Noah Fant in the Wilson trade.
Purdy will be a solid backup. He’s not going to be a starter but he does stuff well enough and is a high IQ QB that he is what you want in a backup.Purdy has a weak arm, bad throwing mechanics, not a great decision maker and not accurate with the football over 15 yards.
