So still no one saying why? Tried catching up but got tired of the NIL chicken littles.

If I had to guess as to 'why?'
- In trouble/impending suspension or team rule issues
- Deon Broomfield??
- Hopefully it's because Malik Verdon, or Mason Chamber or this Trevon Howard kid passed them up in spring ball. - I hope its this one, but I doubt it.
- Lastly, NIL... but I would be shocked if CM is leaving bc of that... unless he goes to a team like OU with guaranteed money just for being on scholarship.

If I were to take a wild guess at another possibility, I’d say perhaps some sort of personal issue, maybe something back home. This just popped up way too suddenly.

Not an insider, but I am now convinced we abandoned the 3-3-5 and the pt is just vanishing.
Not sure how serious you are, but it could be the other way around. Meaning, because we've had so many departures in the secondary since last year, we abandon the 3-3-5 out of necessity due to personnel.

Blinn JUCO safety commit Blake Thompson (announced 30 mins ago) could also have played a role in this.

I already can tell we’re going to be far more nasty to college kids now. Especially post Tyrese Hunter.
I mean, if they are cashing $100k checks to play college ball while the rest of us are 9-5, is there really a reason to hold back? Before, I could see it. They were just college kids playing a game. But if they are getting paid to play, they’re going to need to handle criticism that might not have been there a few years ago.

Are there still jobs that are 9-5? I've always worked 8-5.

Yeah for Tyrese sure. But for a kid like this you have no idea if that’s the issue. And there’s a strong chance that wasn’t the factor. It’s pretty confusing

I could offer some intel, but from certain posters slandering me on here, I’ll refrain from that.

DM me if you want it.

Duh!
IIRC, I read something recently where some of the players entering the portal weren't finding homes. Some names were still in there from last season. So either they quit playing when they couldn't find a place or dropped way down the hierarchy of divisions.
Portal is a @#$& show, there has been many more kids in it than scholarships for a while now.
