Gotcha. Thanks for the clarification! There's no "argument." He made a personal decision that was best for him. Unfortunately the aftermath of that decision leaves Iowa State in a tough spot. He did nothing wrong though.

Pretty awkward betting against a kid you're recruiting. Regardless AJ never strung anyone along. From the beginning Pro was his preference. No one outside of the Green household actually thought he had a realistic shot at a guarantee until the final weekend workouts with the Bucks and Pacers
Kids been to like 6 high schools and deommitted from 2 colleges
Honestly getting him on campus with Omaha could be very beneficial.Iowa State might be the best place for him.
Just show him campanile. Boom, signed.

Still skeptical Green actually gets a guarantee. Settling for an Exhibit 10 deal seems more likely. No one outside of the Green household actually thought he had a realistic shot at a guarantee until the final weekend workouts with the Bucks and Pacers

Well maybe?
Pretty sure grad transfers don't.Pretty sure he needs a wavier? Idk what the hell the rules are anymore
Well maybe?
Only started half their games and negative assist/TO ratio. On surface level I wouldn’t hate it. I wonder what kind of second wave of grad transfers we’ll see
My reading of the rule is that grad transfers are not immediately eligible if they have already used their one-time no-sit transfer. Kelly… (checks notes) has played for 3 teams in the last 4 seasons. So in conclusion, who knows what the NCAA will do.Pretty sure grad transfers don't.

He enrolled at Georgetown last fall which screwed him over. Can’t enroll in August and play at a different school the same school year. That sucks that King had to sit so long and all these others can transfer and play right away and get thousands of dollars! Don’t quite seem fair!
We got a KU (QB) transfer
Maybe. I guess he didn't know the pro route would be the ultimate decision or he wouldn't have entered the portal. Hedged his bets, which I don't blame him for.We strung our selves along. AJ said from the beginning going pro was his priority.
