Happy for Jacobson, not sure how realistic chance he has to make the Colts final roster, but maybe he can be the 3rd TE there.

Kolar didn't appear in the box score for Baltimore the other night, but their other rookie TE was 4-44. Is he hurt, or just that buried on the depth chart?

Kolar has a sports hernia and will be out for a little while.

A new thread to discuss the former Cyclones now in the league.
  • AJ Klein ('09-12) - LB, Buffalo Bills Free Agent
  • David Montgomery ('16-18) - RB, Chicago Bears
  • Willie Harvey ('14-18) - LB, Cleveland Browns
  • Allen Lazard ('14-17) - WR, Green Bay Packers
  • Steven Wirtel ('16-19) - LS, Green Bay Packers
  • Michael Jacobson ('18-20) - TE, Indianapolis Colts
  • Landon Akers ('15-20) - WR, Los Angeles Rams
  • Jamal Perry ('12-16) - CB, Miami Dolphins
  • Kene Nwangwu ('16-20) - RB, Minnesota Vikings
  • Dylan Soehner ('16-20) - TE, New Orleans Saints
  • Matt Leo ('16-19) - DE, Philadelphia Eagles
Jacobson,a great Cyclone, seems to be getting it done.

Didn't know Klein didn't have a team for this season yet. Just looked up that he has played 9 years so it would be nice if he could get one more just so he can say he played a Decade in the League.

Definitely one of the longer tenured cyclones in the NFL that I can remember. Without checking, I'd assume Sage and Seneca lasted about that long, if not longer. List is pretty short though.

More than just "saying" he had a decade, doesn't this impact pension a good amount?

Did Dylan Soehner get on the field for the Saints? Anyone know about his training camp? Everyone was projecting him to stick with N.O. last year before that injury; I hope he gets a true shot to remove some NFL guys from their shoes. And catch an occasional pass...

Did the Bills cut him? I thought he was in year 3 of a 3 year deal?

Chase Allen got a lot of run for the bears yesterday since most of their TE room was out of game 1. He had 1 catch to start the game, but it looked like he did a great job in their blocking scheme.

Mike Rose got in for the chiefs towards the end of the 3rd and for the 4th quarter. I'm not sure he made much of an impact. I thought he looked huge out there though, which I wasn't expecting.
