Other thing I hate is when to you do a straight up comparison of numbers between conferences with an unequal number of teams. And that will get worse with the B10 and SEC going to 16.Ah yes. The coveted, cherry picked Top 44 poll

Yeah, but we are kinda the king of cherry picked stats. "Since September 28, 2017, ISU has the most wins over top 25 teams, as an underdog, for home games, when the temp is below 52 degrees, for games played on Saturday's.... " type stuff.Ah yes. The coveted, cherry picked Top 44 poll
Just like the fans and media of the big ten this year in the ncaa basketball tournament. Got all those teams in with the bigger conference and got smoked.Other thing I hate is when to you do a straight up comparison of numbers between conferences with an unequal number of teams. I don't think anything happens unless the B1G takes more teams. I think Stanford could happen sooner rather than later though, B1G presidents would be drooling to add them.I agree, after all the bluster on the internet and in this thread, by myself included, I honestly think we are back at the status quo. Nothing changes from here until the next TV deals.
Here I thought realignment could have potentially put a nail in the Rose Bowl’s coffin and yet:

Eh, maybe for Big 10 and Pac 12 fans. In the NY6 era they're all amazing - I'm sure SEC fans would tell you the Sugar Bowl is the top. Just depends on your conferences history with NY6 bowls. Rose Bowl is always a fun game to watch for me, just like the Fiesta and Orange Bowls are fun to watch.Kirk's not wrong. Rose Bowl is top of the mountain. I'm in.
Since the historic connection is almost obsolete (if playoff expands, and scatter-shot-ness of Pac-12 on the horizon), I wouldn't be against it.Kirk's not wrong. Rose Bowl is top of the mountain. I'm in.
They're all amazing but the Rose Bowl is just better. Longer history, perfect weather, perfect bowl-type stadium, cooler visual setting. Has nothing to do with the B1G or Pac, it's just the coolest place to host the title game. A dome in Louisiana doesn't come close.Eh, maybe for Big 10 and Pac 12 fans. NOW we care about college football history/tradition. After raping and pillaging the continent. I see. They're all amazing but the Rose Bowl is just better.
