Offensively Philly has had a great first half of run pass mixing.
Back to back Harvey stops. Coaching staff loved it.
Pretty sure he got one snap near the end of the half when Cleveland was inside the 10.
Loved Harvey when he was at ISU, and he's a great Cyclone. Always keeping up and promoting the program.

If they can't offload Garapallo, I wonder if they will be forced to cut Brock regardless of how much they like him?
It's a weird situation. There is apparently no partner out there who has cap space to take Jimmy G, so SF is going to have to throw a bunch of money at Seattle or another partner if they really want him gone. Cut him after opening day and he'll get $25 million to sit at home until a need from some team arises. I can't see them wanting to do that either.
Brock could be the odd man out no matter how much Shanahan likes what he's done in camp.

Garapollo isn't going to play into the Purdy situation at all. Jimmy G will either be traded or outright dropped (with only a small cap hit). They aren't keeping him on the team just because. He hasn't even been practicing with the team because everyone in SFO knows he's done there.
If Purdy makes the 53 man roster it will be because the coaches think enough of him to carry 3 QBs (which is unlikely).

The 49ers are not going to keep Jimmy G on their roster, they are either going to trade him or cut him and pay him the 2 million to go away. No way they are going to pay him 25 million to be a backup.
Purdy's situation is unique in that he may force the 49ers to keep 3 active QB's, because if they cut him and then attempt to resign him, to their practice squad he has to pass through waivers and any team can claim him. Purday has shown enough that he may just stick around at least for a while on the roster.
The positive of not having the huge cuts like they used to is players like Purdy get a chance to show their ability a little more. The negative is, that if another team has interest, they don't stand a very good chance to get picked up anywhere other than a practice squad since they would have no time to learn the offense and other basics. I'm guessing if SF wants him on the practice squad, they will have him on the practice squad.
