That's probably for the best, especially for a boy. I was the youngest in my grade (July B-day) and it sucked, especially sophomore year when everyone else was driving.Same with our youngest. We redshirted him because he is small physically and he turned five the first day he would have started.

My daughter turned 15 on the first day of her sophomore year last week. She has many friends that are a full year older than her that are driving everywhere. It's not near as big of a deal in KC as it was in rural Iowa, though. That car was my ticket to freedom.
