He made a baseless claim of sexual harassment, which had nothing to do with misogyny.

Honestly, if anyone who actually listens to the show and has been offended by anything Travis has said, that's more on them than it is on Travis
Travis's work leans much more towards the not funny / idiocy side of things than legitimately being sexual harassment. His inability to change his POV about any sport over the last 10 years or so is the most offensive thing.

He likes to push buttons without crossing any lines and thinks it's funny, which no harm, no foul I suppose. This morning he goes "would it be sexist...." (me: oh boy, they're going to love this on the forums) and then goes into a tangent about how when guys go golfing, they throw on a Nike polo, a hat and some shorts and think "oh yeah, beer cart girl is going to see me in this and want to do it in the porta potty at the turn, even though I'm 50 and 300 pounds"

You realize it's not all men who are listening, right? Like you can actually comprehend it's not just a male audience tuning in? If you're cool with Travis' brand of "shock radio", more power to you and I hope you keep enjoying the new show.
I have my kids in the car in the morning and find myself either having to turn the channel or the volume all the way down when they start talking more adult topics but I also willingly listen to the show and know I need to use my own discretion on what I choose to listen to in their presence. It's no different than if you were to willingly turn on Howard Stern, Mancow, or any other radio programming where you know there may be inappropriate things said. If you don't like that kind of talk radio then no one is forcing you to listen to the show. Did Travis directly ask you if you are a boob or butt guy? I know its hard for some to comprehend but this isn't as black and white as an HR case if someone said that in a corporate office environment. If he truly did offend the producer over that comment I am sure they had a conversation about it off air. Regardless I can't believe there are so many butthurt Karens here still trying to make a bigger deal over this than it should be. It's not the first time nor the last that you are going to hear Travis talk like that and it's been discussed at length at time.

This is the kind of crap that I don't miss at all after I unsubscribed from the cave a couple years ago. Some people get too worked up over things that really aren't worth the effort to argue about and then resort to name calling and labeling people things as part of their replies instead of just saying their piece and leaving it at that. I can't imagine how angry and unhappy some folks must be that certain things trigger that kind of obsession and responses. It's just like watching a cable news show in some ways...

JFC, in 26 hours we have our first football game in 9 months and the top thread on here is arguing about some dip**** radio host that a majority of us moved on from a decade ago for streaming services and Sirius XM.

If you guys are really that passionate send him a nasty email. I did it about probably around 2009 or so and he read the whole thing out over the air. Couldn't bother responding personally.

I would say it's not compelling, at least to me, because of Travis. I don't give a **** how many times he travels to Italy. I really don't care that he has a personal relationship with Hollywood Higgins. He's always challenging anyone's opinion if it doesn't align with his and then usually talks over them if they make their point. I understand his character is supposed to be the contrarian, but when you're taking the position of, "Why did the gymnasts wait so long to say something about Nassar if they were this upset" just to be edgy, you're no longer being edgy and just being an ******* for the sake of being an *******.

Did he really say this?

Some of us like to listen to local sports talk about the teams around here and not listen to espn, fox or other stations on XM or streaming that talk about lebron, yankees, brady, bama or patriots year round. you and others that listen to no local radio are the reason local stations are not able to stay a float. im sure you shop amazon instead of going to local stores also.

I'm not in a court of law, I'm giving my opinions which I'm more than free to do. I'm not sure why you're taking them so personal and so hard. I've made several posts in this thread and others of why I think Travis is a trash radio personality and if you're having a tough time comprehending or understanding those posts, I suppose that's on you.
Quit listening to him. He must be just horrible. So bad that they have kept him on the radio for many many years. You might be one of the reasons this world is going to crap. Everything offends you. Im sure you wear your mask while riding your bike too.

You're very offended by opinions and it seems like the thoughts and actions of others have an emotional impact on you.

You get offended by someone wearing a mask? Seems like silly things offend you.

You said you were done with college athletics because of Tyrese Hunter so I find this post great.
