Did they win 1 or 11 games in 3 seasons? That was weird how it was displayed

It was over 100 degrees and hotter than that in the stadium. Playing a little opponent. This is shocking but not surprising
Meanwhile, WVU-Pitt set an all-time attendance record for Heinz field, with 71000.
It also killed it on the TV ratings. That should help the big 12's tv deal

Backyard Brawl Delivers Huge Numbers for ESPN
The Backyard Brawl didn’t go the way West Virginia wanted it to in a , but the renewed rivalry delivered monster numbers for ESPN. ESPN’s PR department shared the data on Friday that the game delivered 3.15 million viewers, the most-watched ESPN Thursday game since 2017. It was also the...www.heartlandcollegesports.com
You're talking like touchdowns on the first 7 possessions is bad or something.Pac-12 seems dead already honestly on the field. The projected champ lost to Florida and Oregon got obliterated by Georgia.

They have a beach in CA, so....Some fanbases turn out when it's hot as **** and they're playing a nobody, and others don't. There are plenty in the first group, but UCLA isn't.

Give me some nice quiet mountains!!I don’t want to be mean, apologies if I came off that way. Just for informational purposes, here are a few examples of how engrained the ocean/beach lifestyle is out here. A possible analogy, imagine if a place like Charlotte had a NASCAR event every Saturday and Sunday. NASCAR is engrained their DNA, the panthers better me damn good if they want to draw.

Hawaii and Miami might be on the same level. No other place that I can think of in the US.
I realize it is labor day weekend and 1st game of season, but seems like any conference would be smart to "brand" Thursday or Friday night primetime game. Back in the day the ACC put a great game on Thu night and it was must watch for football fans.Meanwhile, WVU-Pitt set an all-time attendance record for Heinz field, with 71000.

I did find it ironic how ESPN was pumping up and celebrating this game, when they were the reason it went away for so long.Meanwhile, WVU-Pitt set an all-time attendance record for Heinz field, with 71000.

I think it also shows people want competitive games. Not sure what the pecking order for Networks is in picking games, but have no idea why Fox showed OU v UTEP. I would much rather watch a Penn State v Purdue, Utah v Florida or Pitt v WVU than Bama, OU, OSU or GA every week.
Sorry, just having fun with it.Enough with the ******* beach ****.
Having lived at the beach and now in the mountains, I can say it ALL depends on what you enjoy. I love the peace and tranquility of the mountains, which was the same feeling as I had when I did my morning runs at the beach. It's just an older body now in the mountains.Give me some nice quiet mountains!!

Maybe TBS/TNT/Turner is an option for the Big 12? Sounds like according to this that Turner Sports wants to get even more live sports:
