If the refs are going to call a sideline warning how about a the need for a 15 for the multiple beer cans thrown out onto the field at multiple different points during the game. How many times does it have to happen before they do what they should be doing in Kninck and pour it in a cup and not allow cans pas the counter at all.

How many times have we seen plays with <5 seconds to go when the sideline pours into the field thinking the game is over and the coach and officials usher everyone back with no incident?
Is the difference the time on the clock? It felt pretty chincy to call that there, especially after they picked up a flag.
The 20 yard penalty was the best output by Iowa’s offense all day.
GeorgiaSouthern coaches jumping all over the field when they score go ahead TD v. Nebby late in the game. No call.

“Other”? You saw even this instance was clearly in neutral zone?

Many dozens of times every game players line up that close or closer including lots of times in this game with no flag.
Not talking about the offsides. Talking about the 15 yard penalty. There was no point in making that call in what appeared to be a big change of possession, especially at the end of the game.

That Purdue player slamming a brew is still one of the coolest things I've seen happen during a football game.

Officiating was bad but in both directions but I agree as an Iowa fan that the celebration penalty should have been waived off. I think that had to have been what was being discussed because the deliberation with the crew took so long. If the tables had been reversed, I’d been irate.

Congrats on the win though!

At the end of the day, Nebraska lost.

Literally, at the end of the day.

And that's one thing Iowa and Iowa State fans can unite on.
