Doubt it. He is/was buddies with the Chicago front office. He may have had other opportunities but that is who, it appears, he wanted to coach. He also had dug himself a hole. He knew he was going to have to hit recruiting hard to fill the hole that was coming up and as he said, he hated recruiting.
Yeah I think he had his fill with CBB. I think if he’s still interested in the coaching aspect he could do a hell of a job as an offensive analyst. Something where he never had to go out on the road. I wonder if he’d be up for that down the road.

His time at Nebraska has been pretty good proof that he hates recruiting, haha.

Don't want Campbell for Nebraska and his teeth and team ******** for an excuse. He wouldn't fit.

He would definitely win at Nebraska. 7 wins will get you fired in Lincoln. I don't want him. No thanks.

He looks surprised too often.
Good- then we’re both happy: I’m happy to keep CMC and you’re happy to see Nebraska wallow in 5 win seasons with losses to powerhouses like directional Georgia.

I know it’s been said before: but it’s over for you guys. Settle in for annual 4th or 5th place finishes in the absolute weakest Power 5 division.

Almost make you wonder if he is a hawkeye fan also. Hawkeye fans are obsessed with CMC's teeth. He mentioned his teeth for some odd reason.

It's going to get worse... The B1G is more than likely scrapping divisions when USC and UCLA join. That won't work out well for the likes of Nebby or even Iowa who has feasted on the bottom half of the conference.

Chris Landry, a former coach/scout who currently works as a consultant on coaching hires, said in a podcast that Campbell is either Nebraska's "#1 or #1A" target.

For what it's worth, he went on to say that Campbell is signaling interest, but Landry is unsure how serious it is. It could just be a matter of him getting his name out there to let other schools know he's open to moving for the right offer.

I regrettably didn't save the timestamp, but it's towards the end if you're really interested:

Herman’s wife wasn’t banging players, she would just eyef**k them in the hotel lobby before away games and play chicken topless at coaches pool parties…that members of the football team may or may not have also been at

My worst case scenerio is Urban Meyer takes the Nebraska job. Maybe the disaster in Jacksonville tarnished his reputation enough that the recruits won't go there by I have my doubts.

I think Neb best case scenario is to throw a mountain of cash at Gary Patterson. I still hope even he doesnt take it, b/c their suffering gives me so much joy.

I'm not convinced Urban wants a tough job like Nebraska. Nebraska needs someone to build something, not hot name to give the program attention.

I wonder what he is saying Campbell is doing to show interest? He is treating that like its a fact.
