For Iowa State to have consistent success on offense imo we need:

1. A strength and OL coach that can consistently develop and send lineman to the NFL
2. Same as ^ but with TE
3. A handful of talented recruits for the skill positions

I think we have the recruiting grounds to consistently create and develop NFL-level OL and TE (see Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, etc.).

If we can do that and then get an "Allen Lazard" or "Breece Hall" once a year, I think we'll be in a good spot.
Have any Campell OL ever made the NFL?

I don't believe any Campbell offensive lineman (at Iowa State) have been drafted.

Not sure if anyone has made the practice squad, or if he had NFL lineman at Toledo.

Why the hell do we consistently get some momentum then stand around before the snap and lose any momentum? Fine, do that until you Get a couple first downs but then play with a tiny bit of pace. We don't have to sprint up and snap it but get into a bit of a rhythm and keep the D back pedaling

We like the personnel match up with the defense but don’t want to play very fast. This isn’t a concern IMO.

I'm not asking to play fast. I'm asking to play with some rhythm. We consistently stand around and run the clock all the way down. Play with just a little bit of rhythm to keep up our momentum

In all seriousness there are high school OC’s that could step in and call a better game.
For a third of the salary Manning makes. Hell if it’s going to be this bad, at least save some dollars for other coaching spots and I will do the exact same for $250k a year. Honestly cannot be much worse, especially on a pure ROI standpoint.

That's really frustrating. Take advantage of momentum! Felt this after the rundown fumble recovery... Take a shot downfield!

ISU has 170 total rushing yards in 3 B12 games this year. They averaged 161 /game rushing last year.

Manning makes more money than Brian Ferentz. Let that sink in.
Just heard CW say he would bet even money that Campbell and Manning will be working till 3 am working on the offense

We're simply too predictable. All vanilla. Run the football up the middle. Run the football up the middle.... CMC preaches the running game. Ok how's that working out? A note to Manning.... Time to be more creative!

We should throw a large sum of money at Golesh. Not sure that he’d leave Tennessee for the tire fire that is the ISU offense but it’s worth a shot
