If we get our contract done in the coming weeks like Yormark is strutting about and the PAC has no deal I expect expansion.
No doubt, I am sure they are pushing for some clauses in the contract that make joining an attractive option for member schools, and those looking to join.If we get our contract done in the coming weeks like Yormark is strutting about and the PAC has no deal I expect expansion.
So we make our bed with the company that just 12 months ago tried to snuff us out...cool.So we will be the ESPN + filler package. Lucky us.
**** ESPN, but at the same time, if we get into good graces with them, it would be a good thing for the conference. Plus their focus will shift to ending the PAC 12.So we make our bed with the company that just 12 months ago tried to snuff us out...cool.
I suppose that is true. I just hate the production value of ESPN+. It's all 3rd rate camera crew, commentators and pxp guys/girls that seem incapable of disguising biases. Plus I just feel like nobody is watching those games aside from fans of the respective schools playing on it. You can't just find a game by channel flipping. I'd much rather a deal be worked out with CBS/Turner Sports, but that seems further away than ever at this point. Fox is fine, but would love to see ESPN cut out of the deal.**** ESPN, but at the same time, if we get into good graces with them, it would be a good thing for the conference. Yeah but if you're on ESPN+, you were likely not going to be on a very good channel anyway if you were with a different network.I suppose that is true. I just hate the production value of ESPN+. But she is hot and lets me do naughty things. So we make our bed with the company that just 12 months ago tried to snuff us out...cool.
Same. It seems like we're gonna be able to fleece them a bit, which is good at the bare minimum. Turns out they need us a lot more than they thought they did**** ESPN, but at the same time, if we get into good graces with them, it would be a good thing for the conference. When the mouse does a full takeover of the SEC, wouldn't that still leave an open slot on CBS? With Big 10 being exclusively FOX, I'd like to see CBS be in the Big 12 conversation. CBS isn't going to accept the opportunity cost and put Mountain West in that time slot. Unless I missed something CBS announced?
I agree, I would have preferred that for Football...but how else do you get all the conf Basketball games aired? ESPN+ is best suited for that IMO.I suppose that is true. Thanks. I must have missed that. It's hard to keep up anymore. The middle afternoon game with CBS is going to be Big10 in the future.
This is fair. I just effing hate ESPN and don't want to be affiliated with them anymore. That is pretty much what it boils down to. Put us on Stadium with Chris HasselYeah but if you're on ESPN+, you were likely not going to be on a very good channel anyway if you were with a different network.
Well, it's not quite like taking back an old girlfriend or something (unless you live somewhere where there's only 8 women to choose from). There are very few options that play in those waters, with the kind of money that we are looking for.So we make our bed with the company that just 12 months ago tried to snuff us out...cool.
You're a bit behind, that's ok. B1G's new contract is going to include these Networks and Times every week. FOX at 11, CBS at 2:30, and NBC for Evening, they killed it.When the mouse does a full takeover of the SEC, wouldn't that still leave an open slot on CBS? Good, I can take my afternoon nap while watching Northwestern and Indiana race to 17 points. F*** the Big 10The middle afternoon game with CBS is going to be Big10 in the future.
