Yeah, that means the Pac 10 would make more per team. Well, that sucks and way different from what we have been hearing. However, Pac would be on ESPN / Amazon versus ESPN / Fox for Big 12. Not sure that includes Tier 3 for either conference. I have heard some many numbers through the years for Tier 3. The most common I heard for ours in the past was $1-2 million a year for ESPN +.Paywalled NY Post article from Marchand:

Where the Big 12 and Pac-12 TV negotiations are headed and what it means for college football’s future
The college sports conferences are each seeking deals worth around $400M per year.nypost.com
From what I can see in the preview, He's thinking the Big 12 winds up with ESPN/Fox for somewhere in the $350-$360 million range and the Pac-12 winds up with ESPN/Amazon for a similar value.
I'm sure there's more details but I'm too lazy/stubborn to create an account for the free trial.
It lines up with what's been predicted from JP as well as Sic'em 365's interview with Pat Crakes.
With only 10 teams and 4 or 5 conference games a weekend, I would assume any Pac12 deal with Amazon would include tier3.Yeah, that means the Pac 10 would make more per team. Im still not convinced a P2 breakaway is happening. I think they know they need the others more than they're willing to admit
I understand that the NFL has the best players in the world, but if you think it's a great product, you haven't been watching. This season has been especially bad. The NFL is a corporate bore with horrible fans, and I have little emotional investment in the games, but I know I'm in the minority on that. I have it on in the background on Sundays, but it's nothing like a college football Saturday to me.Another thing about college football that is appealing is the varied approaches teams take to be successful. RPO, option, pro-style offenses. Analytics was first utilized in the college game.
I get bored with the NFL. Most teams are too afraid to takes risks and be in innovative.
Take away fantasy football and sports betting and the NFL loses a lot of its appeal.I understand that the NFL has the best players in the world, but if you think it's a great product, you haven't been watching. Even when the Vikes play I don't watch super close but I don't watch any other games until playoffs. I will tune into a couple other Big12 games usually.I understand that the NFL has the best players in the world, but if you think it's a great product, you haven't been watching. so about 29 mil per team. That is less than the ACC deal that every says is so bad which I think is at 36 mil per year.Paywalled NY Post article from Marchand:

ACC includes T3 rights. Big 12's number does not.so about 29 mil per team. That is less than the ACC deal that every says is so bad which I think is at 36 mil per year.
Doesn't that also include things like NCAA tourney revenue etc for the ACC? $29MM for the Big 12 is just T1 & T2 rights correct?ACC includes T3 rights. Big 12's number does not.

You got it. Tier 1&2 for the ACC is around $20M per team.Doesn't that also include things like NCAA tourney revenue etc for the ACC? $29MM for the Big 12 is just T1 & T2 rights correct?

The acc contract length is what makes it awful.so about 29 mil per team. That is less than the ACC deal that every says is so bad which I think is at 36 mil per year.

Conzano was right that Scott was a clown. However, most of his criticism of Scott was completely incorrect. He was mostly bagging on Scott because he thought the PACs deal sucked because Scott was a poor negotiator. In reality the PACs deal is bad because the product is not valuable.Kind of funny the love Conzano got here when he was ripping on Scott every other month.
They are saying that is just the media money, not including, bowls, T3, NCAA tourney, adverts, and Playoff money. in everything I saw. Saying it is about 5m more than we are getting now before playoff expansion. So about 50M plus playoff money of 10-15M at the start of the contract. So all in with t3 and playoff 65M +/-so about 29 mil per team. That is less than the ACC deal that every says is so bad which I think is at 36 mil per year.
