Article doesn't identify how the distribution of the stolen meat occurred. Would ne interested to know what happened after it was stolen.
I'm sure they were stored in some random refrigerated facility (maybe repackaged, maybe not) and then sold off in smaller increments. All they'd have to do would be to throw a couple pallets in the nose of a trailer destined for other destinations. If proper documentation is provided, DOT rarely breaks a seal to inspect a load and, even if they did, they're not climbing over 20+ pallets of other stuff to make sure it's all legit.

Or, they could have simply created paperwork and taken the product over the border.

There are some shady, yet legitimate, people in transportation. I've got stories that could fill books.

Anyone need any meat? I got a guy that can help.

But seriously, how to you fence $100k of pork?

1. Go to a food distribution company in Chicago, KC, etc.
2. Tell manager you have a tremendous cash deal on a load of USDA inspected product
3. Accept cash or phony purchase order.

Come on. This is making crude comments overly easy.
