What are the potential projections for the Tech game?

What are the potential projections for the Tech game?

It's probably at the bottom of the order for 11/19, so I'd be leaning toward 11:00.

I also wouldn't be surprised if the networks pull the trigger on their last 6-day, because the 11/26 games won't have as much on the line.

*OSU at OU (rivalry)
*TCU at BU (rivalry, CCG implications?)
*KSU at WVU (KSU title game chances)
*UT at KU (two mid-level teams)
*TTU at ISU (two of the bottom three teams)

Would the 6 day thing effect us though since we will be the 'worst' game that day? Wouldn't we be destined for whatever the lowest network is?

It would, because they'd also be holding games in other conferences. There could be multiple games in play for the 11:00 FS1 window (for example).

If they toss ISU/Tech and hold the other 4, that's almost assuredly going to result in ESPN+. Just like 11/5, when they held 4 and tossed ISU/WVU.

Thanks! So chances of a night game are about zero.

Boy for once I hope for the 11am game for Tech. That night there is an Iowa All State Band and Choral Concert. 1000 kids and 6000 spectators in Hilton that starts at 730pm. What A nightmare if the game is anything other than 11am.

From a logistics perspective, I'm sure the AD would rather not want both events happening simultaneously (or directly back-to-back). Not sure if they could (or would) lobby TV for an 11:00 start, though.

If the game gets booted to ESPN+, I'd bet it starts at 1:00.

I've been in Lawton/Ft Sill the last several weeks and for the next several weeks to come... pondering if I want to make the several hour drive to go or not.

You got me dude. 20% of the Big 12 games are on a good network. I take back what I said before. Ratings are going to be huge for the conference. Who care if ESPN +, FS1, ESPNU are on the docket! There's one game on ABC. Seriously man, think.

3 big 12 games at the same time as well...canibalizing ratings from each other. So were you serious with your post or you just didn't think about things?
