The lighting is what you do in arenas that you want to hide the empty seats, makes no sense in Hilton.
And the changes around the court have HURT the energy level and this years changes will only further that.
You don’t **** with what was amazing.
Between these and some of the changes in football we've definitely not been winning in the atmosphere department. They couldnt do much worse if they tried.
Who would of thought at this stage in his career the most frustrating part of Grills game would be his 3 point shooting. Really has improved all around game a ton but my goodness does he remain inconsistent from 3.

The location of the student section is so dumb. They need to be as close to the court as possible.
I don't know who the hell is making these decisions (maybe Jamie) but you are right on all of these.
The lighting change back in the 2017 year (i think that's when it was) was a horrible decision.
The change of the student section chairback seats into bleacher style would've been fine if they didn't also move it back from the court like an extra 5-8 feet. And last year they installed a baby gate in front of the student section and it makes it look so tacky.
And now they have the cheerleaders/dance team standing and not sitting on the court like they've been for decades.....I don't get it
JFC, people always have to find something to ***** about. I guess tonight's du jour is "atmosphere".
We're gonna need Lipsey to play a ton of minutes this year. He's a good point guard already.
Let's wait until we play someone with a good defensive plan. THEN we'll see if he can handle the pressure. I like what I see now though.
