Disengennious while platooning? The guy has 546 at-bats.
The top three;
Arraez 546 AB 172 hits
Judge 570 AB 177 hits
Bogaerts 554 AB 169 hits
Agree.
Little sidebar on the batting title: They use plate appearances for the batting title and not "at bats" so they add in the walks, HBP, sacrifices etc. to determine qualifiers.
"Since 1957, a player must have
3.1 plate appearances (PA) per team game (for a total of 502 over the current 162-game season) to qualify for the batting title."
Judge, with his 111 walks, HBP's and sacrifices had 696 plate appearances. Arraez had 603 plate appearances, a hundred over the minimum. Judge didn't have that many more AB versus lefties than Arraez, just WAY more right handed pitching for everyone so everyone's stats versus lefties is short sheeted.
