Not exactly sure.
Anybody know if one of the suites just happens to be not sold today, or a jack trice clubber not going to make it. Just want a little heat.

Today I’m an Illini fan, next week a Michigan fan. Knock the big ten out of the CFP.
Not happening unfortunately even if Michigan and OSU lose one. The Big Ten and SEC have too much influence. They will find a reason to keep at least one team in.

For the Big 12, TCU losing guarantees no CFP for the Big 12. Nobody in the national media will bat for a one loss Big 12 team (not OU) to be in the playoffs.

A one loss Big12 team isn’t getting in. The perception just isn’t there
Agree - a one loss Michigan, Ohio State, Tenn, etc would get in over a one loss TCU. TCU is barely straddling the line right now with 0 losses.

So, then have Illinois win the west and be Illinois fans in the big ten championship?

Yep.. you had homers in Finebaum and Smith saying all week how TCU didn't deserve to be in the CFP even if undefeated. This game now gives them all the firepower to justify 2 Big Ten and 2 SEC teams. Vomit. But this is great for college football! Am I right Big Ten and SEC fans?

"missouri and iowa play for a telephone".....even a graphic while talking about trophy games......sigh.....nebraska/wisc broadcast just now

I will never understand why we don't have a k-state game trophy at least.

Sec fans will agree becuase their top schools are significantly better then those in the other conferences. Big ten fans don’t think we should get two in. Michigan is very on dimensional

It’s too late now. Making up trophies is just lame.

I am a part-time Alabama fan, and I think ONLY one team per conference should make the four team playoff, and only the Confernce Champion should be eligible. So, IMO, the winner of the SEC Championship Game between LSU and Georgia should be the only SEC team eligible to make the CFP this year.

Hell, if Michigan loses today and beats OSU next week they might put both OSU\Michigan in at 1 loss.

No matter how it plays out, there will be at least one Big Ten team in the CFP. Illinois > Michigan, Michigan>Ohio State, Illinois>Michigan again (championship), the CFP will say Ohio State had a quality loss to Michigan and still send them. The committee has made it clear they don't care if CFP teams don't play in the conference championship as long as they are a blue blood in the Big Ten or SEC. I don't agree with it but that is why the committee exists, to move the goal posts to finagle who makes the playoffs.
