I’m cleaning the kitchen. Roomba is doing its thing. Kid is playing. Often times with roomba at the same time.

We’re in potty training mode. He’s mastered number 1. Number 2 is a work in progress. Well…. Number 2 happened and he stripped naked to go number 1 and roomba was with him. Mother of God…. What did I do to deserve this?

Send help.

I grew up on a hog farm so I’ve seen my fair share of poo. But this was horrifying.

The reason I don't have one. Occasionally there has been poop, pee and dead animals on my floor.
No thank you!

I had one about 5 years ago. It got into a pile of still-wet cat barf.

I was able to open it and clean it up, more or less. But there was some "debris" on the circuit board, and its never been quite the same.

Daughter has it now, says it is kind of brain damaged- gets stuck a lot, won't line up to the charger by itself, etc. And when it runs, still emits a slight aroma of parfum de catbarf.

Bathroom is like a war zone. Now following the trail over the rest of the level. Thankfully didn’t go into the carpeted bedrooms. But the living room rug got hit. Of course pop got all over the bumper so there’s periodic stains down low on everything. Awesome.

Way up there
I had a coworker who had an awful incident with dog poo and her Roomba, basically looked like someone used a paint roller on her carpet. They are great but like all technology, there is usually a weakness.

Why even own one of these things if you have kids or pets? Seems like a disaster just waiting to happen.

I think ol Roomba has served us well for five years. First incident of this nature. Do I throw it out? There are so many hard to reach places where poo will fit into. Do I even try?

Just got a Roomba for my wife for Christmas. Made sure it has the detection features for when we get the next puppy. I'm still not convinced it's going to work well with all the stuff the kids leave laying around. But that's what she wanted.

You could always get rid of the kid and keep the roomba? Probably cheaper too
