I picked him up too and I’m starting him this week after Lamar got hurt. There were several available quarterbacks with more projected points but if I win, I’m in the playoffs. I’ll take Purdy when there’s something on the line.
Bad call to start Purdy this week. teams have a little bit of film on him now, and they can game plan for him.

I was going to grab him too because of Lamar getting hurt. My back-up has a bye this week so I figured why not. Somebody beat me to the punch with it so now I'm starting whoever the Jets QB is that didn't bang his moms friend.

I get this take. But at the same time, Brock has this guy.

I have been a staunch Purdy supporter and defender. But this is way too much hype. He plays the vaunted Bucs D Sunday and he's in for an eye opener.

Hoping he avoids the hype and plays within himself. This is going off the rails
This happens everyday in this overreaction era. One good game and suddenly you're the next great QB and one bad game suddenly you're a disaster.
I hope he does well again this weekend though.

If he beats Tom Brady, there will not be rails. It will be a national media hype train space ship to the moon.

I agree that it's very risky and maybe not the logical choice but I'm going with it.

Do not start Purdy on your fantasy team this week, he's facing one of the top rated defenses in the NFL known for confusing opposing QBs and it's supposed to be raining off and on all day Sunday in Santa Clara. I can see the 9ers pulling this off at home as long as Purdy takes care of the ball, but he isn't going to win you any fantasy games this week.

This it true, but SF also has a week to prepare ways for him to be successful. And they have tons of versatile weapons. I think it is still advantage SF for being the unknown here. Maybe in a couple more weeks there is more film and more of a blueprint for how to scheme against him.

I just enjoy living vicariously through Sage's midlife crisis and always look forward to hearing what he's up to next!

Sage deserved a 2 hr pod and that guy cut him off at 30 minutes. Sage is a stud. Absolutely love listening to him and think ISU would be well served if they kept him around and happy. His knowledge would go well as an offensive consultant.
Can't stand Ross Tucker
