To spice things up in our otherwise boring team meetings at work, we have made up deathmatches. These have always been between random animals but I'm spicing things up and throwing in Dwight Shrute. I think a human man fighting a bobcat to the death would be a pretty even match. for this scenario they will be in a 30' cube with all surfaces padded.

If you don't think a bobcat is a fair fight for Dwight, what animal would you recommend?

Edit: I just looked up the record for largest bobcat. 51lbs. Let's assume that the bobcat in question weighs 51lbs.

Most mobile and healthy adult humans would handle a bobcat if it really was a life/death situation - I think you could get a better argument out of a coyote or wild dog.

I think this is what most people would think, but have you ever felt a bobcat's claws? I have, that **** is no joke. Furthermore, have you ever seen when tiny housecats attack adult humans. They all cower like little *******.

I'd bet on a 40lb dog over an average man all day long. Bobcats can get up to 40lbs and they have 4 additional sets of knife tows.

Just punch the 40 lb dog in the temple as it is flying in the air towards your throat. A bobcat? Please.

what are you saying about the bobcat? that it is less intimidating than a dog of the same weight?

Bobcats are harder to punch. But, easier to chuck.
part of the reason I am thinking it is a tough match is it doesn't have much of a tail to swing around and bash to death considering it is in a padded arena.
