I would never do that—- signed EK! Just kidding! I was thinking mad guy had to do with anger issues now insanity type tops the list. Furthermore those who have witnessed firsthand what a complete package that makes all others on the team better.

A little patience, people...Eli will be just fine...in time. I just hope he'll be patient too and that Iowa State will be the team that reaps his benefits

Looks like the big twelve seventh or eight place team will be struggling to get a spot in the ncaa tournament this year. The coach will be praying to play downward spiraling teams (NC) or teams that have off shooting nights (WI) to at least stay in the mediocre category of d1 teams this year. Erratic offense will rear its ugly head when its most needed and team shortcomings wi BE exposed.

According to KenPom rankings, the two worst teams in the Big 12 are Kansas State (50) and Iowa State (45) and both are receiving AP Top 25 votes at this time. I would guess there is probably a 90% chance the 7th place gets in and the 8th place has a decent chance as well.

North Carolina just jump started their resume by beating a then ranked Ohio State who also happens to be the third best team in the Big 10 (which I assume is your favorite conference).

You're either an Iowa fan or a Minnesota fan who is weirdly obsessed with Eli King, so stop trolling on an Iowa State site.

You're just a POS troll but what place do you think WI gets last year in the B12 standings?

Make sure you add in that they didn't see a good defense for 2.5 months during their conference slate.

It's honestly sad that that team won a share of the conference title in the Big 10 and would've won it outright but lost to one of the worst P5 teams in the nation the last game of the year (Nebraska).

Weird things happen in a basketball season but WI hated being guarded all season if it happened, which was not often Jan-March.

Can you imagine if ESPN etc. based their discussion on what a team actually does instead of fluff pieces for 'brand' conferences?

What effect will not playing Omaha have down the line. W off the board. Assuming a Mizzou win and conference split? Need to pick up couple road wins to get in? Will need to do well in conf tourney. Won’t be a big difference from 3-8 ranking in conference when all said and done.

Not sure that it's going to matter all that much. If you split the conference that means we'd go 9-9. A Missouri win puts you at 10-9 the rest of the way and our record would then be 19-11 going into the Big 12 Tournament. Regardless of how we do in Kansas City, we'd be in the Big Dance.

Let’s hope can pull out 9. Will be tough. Hopefully points will magically appear somewhere consistently; defense has been ok against lesser opponents. UConn set the d example. Put in the mouth guard Dec 31st.

UConn is at the moment like a top 3 team nationally and anyone in that realm likely overwhelms ISU.

ISU just getting in the tournament would be really great and then just hope for a favorable matchup if it happens.

I can't imagine a scenario where bracketologists go deep into how ISU not playing a bye game determines their fate.
Heck if they're a bubble team but get an NIT bid more basketball is still cool.

Just odd wouldn't reschedule. 170 miles apart? Win is a win. Would help this year. But if the goal is nit no don't reschedule for sure. Maybe the AD knows more than we do.
