depending which way your driveway sits in comparison to the wind, you may not!Won’t even need the snow blower for this one.

If I remember from very early in this thread (not going to search for it) someone's wife left their garage door open during a decent snow storm and wind causing the snow to drift inside the garage. Probably a good reminder for the rest of us...
Same here. She may end up taking my car since it has the snow tires on it.My wife works Thursday so I will be out to clear a way for her to get out by 6:15 and then for her to get home sometime Thursday night.
Banking on bust. We may have a bad wind chill Thursday, but I don’t expect even 6 inches of snow in the metro. This seems like one of those storms where nobody really has a clue. Either it will be a total bust, or we'll get 20 inches.
This is going to be a bust isn’t it?

With probably 2 Inches of snowThe winds are going to be 40-50 mph gusts. That’s happening.
Yes, but credit to the weather peeps on this thread (local TV too) for keeping things in perspective. "Historic", "Once in a generation", "Worst Ever" were just some of the terms used by national media to overhype this storm.
It's gonna snow and then blow really hard. Or what we call a normal Iowa winter blizzard.

Channel 13 just ran their updated model. Basically no snow after 8am Thursday. Going to depend how much drops Wednesday evening and night.
