We were also hoping for Amazon. It will be interesting to see how the pricing works.

Yeah, I believe I read that the pricing probably won't change much from what it was on Directv due to CBS/Fox (who have the game rights) won't let the new provider charge less for it.

The NFL is required to charge a premium for Sunday Ticket in its contracts with CBS and FOX. So don’t expect this to be free to all Apple TV+ subscribers. I believe it is $300 a season these days.

Maybe Apple TV+ will come with a RedZone channel included though.

YouTube tv paying $2.5 billion per year for Sunday Ticket. By comparison, Direct Tv was paying about $1.5 billion.

That's a heck of a bump.

Not paying $300 for NFL games. Maybe $150 or $99 and I would consider it.

YTTV allows you to get NBA out of market games and the price is monthly or annually.

I'd consider sunday ticket on a monthly basis depending on price. It's nice you can cancel that stuff anytime without having to call anyone and wait on hold for 16 days.

Might be about time for YouTubetv to roll out that mosaic mode they were rumored to be developing so you can watch multiple games at once.

I'm in this camp. If I can watch my team for $99/season, sign me up for life.
And this is where MLB totally drops the ball, misses the boat, and continues to prove how incompetent they are … they could literally print money if they charged people to stream their favorite team, instead of blacking out everything within 500 miles so regional fans can’t watch their teams.

At least the NFL offers a package of all their games, even if it’s at a steep price. Offering access to one specific team should be a no-brainer.
