Does anyone else have this same feeling?

Something that has made me think the last couple weeks. I enjoy watching other former Cyclones in the NFL be successful. Lazard, Montgomery, Hall etc, it's fun to see.

But with Purdy, it's almost like watching Cyclones games again. I want him to do so well I am so invested in the games and almost live and die with his success and failures.

I agree.. a close second would be the Hall games. Lazard is a die hard legacy Cyclone so he is The Godfather of this generation…between these guys and the NBA players it’s hard to believe we didn’t have more success….

I'd love to see Lazard's usage rate in comparison to Brock and Hall.

Trey is for sure. Jimmy has a chance to come back late if it comes to that. The way Brock is playing they aren't going to just hand the job back to Jimmy.

I missed the 49ers going for it on 4th at the end of the game. They were ready to kick the FG and when I came back they had 37 points.

I agree, historic success. They just underachieved .. especially in Purdy’s senior season.

Not in a million years did I think we'd get to this point. I figured practice squad his first year and work up to #2 eventually (hopefully). Maybe he'd pick up some starts at some point due to injury. I guess I thought that the ceiling was a Sage Rosenfels type career.
