we (wife and i) refuse to get mini van but are going to purchase a VW atlas here in the next few months.
No mini vans. Go with a half ton pick up truck with a crew cab. Way better than minivans.

LOL. I just imagine all the city dudes that drive trucks for no reason other than to compensate or look cool trying to make sense of what you just wrote.LMAO
A full size truck with a crew cab is a minivan without a covered third row.

Trying to confirm or not. Are Toyota Siennas only offered as hybrids? No gas only version. At least that's what it looks like.
Toyota may have the best vehicles but their websites are definitely not the best.
Both vehicles are fine. It just depends on your own personal needs and lifestyle. Buy what you like best, after all it is your money, so you want to be happy with your purchase.
I have a pickup now, because it's far more practical for me. My inlaws have a cabin in northern MN, so a truck is better for me to haul things to and fro. It's also easier for me to drive on and off the lakes during ice fishing season.
oh i dont disagree-- very practical but i cant get over the look of them. hell- vans are 40K nowa days anyway.Stigma or what is the hold up on a van? Outside of AWD (extremely valid for rural and HEAVY snow state drivers). You are spending more and getting less in almost every comparable category.
LMAO

Sounds super fun to lug my toddlers in and out of. Even better if they're still in the infant seat.

ill go with the awd and 7/8 seat SUV.
Had it pinned down to the telluride, palisade, and atlasMy top 3 was Odyssey, then Telluride, then Atlas. Hopefully you have considered the Telluride if you are against the more practical route of vans
Reducing number of wives may help the cargo issue.Thats the only problem with minivans, kids have a lot of stuff, wives have a lot of stuff.
Yes, thanks for clarfying. I'm not opposed to hybrids. Just wanted to verify. The new Siennas are only hybrid, but a hybrid isn't an EV. It's like a Prius where the vehicle is just has better fuel economy. EPA says it's 36 MPG for both city and highway on new Siennas whereas it used to be like 28/21 or something like that.
