My wife bought a Toyota Highlander about 2 hrs ago. Not that its a minivan, but just as much room.

Ouch... 4 Chryslers? At least you eventually learned your lesson and got a Toyota.
We had them converted into a handicapped van so we could transport our daughter, Toyota's at the time were not being converted, so we had no choice but Chrysler, Dodge or Chevy. When they started converting Toyota's we purchased one.

We have had both minivans (2 Chysler and 2 Hondas) and Highlanders over the years. The Highlanders are nice for where we are in life now. They do not compare to the versatility and ease of use of the minivans when we had kids.

Highlanders are awesome (we’ve had two) but if you have young kids, you can’t beat a minivan. Those sliding doors and fold down seats are a must for toting kids around. Also, even if you get the third-row option in a Highlander, you can hardly squeeze your way past the second row into it even if you are a kid (and nobody bigger than a kid is fitting into that third row seat) - if you need three rows of seats, you need a minivan.
