Behind you
tOSU maxing out is really, really good and is probably as close to Georgia as Bama in ability nationally but they were a weird team especially the 2nd half of the season.
Lol, that's all I'm saying. Not a Buckeye homer. UGA has been the best team all year, will repeat, is clearly the best team in the country. I responded to someone saying UGA is way beyond the rest of the country just to say nope, they had to come from behind and escape in the semis. Yes I'm usually a B1G homer but I'd have said the same if it was against a non-B1G team. But emotions are raw so I get it.

The SEC fest is too much but I'll need to tune in to watch this Bowers kid more next year.

Eh Ohio State would beat TCU too. Probably not this bad, but Ohio State was the second most-talented team behind Georgia this year. TCU would be able to move the ball easier on them, but the Buckeyes would have scored a TD every time they had the ball. Michigan beat Ohio State, but Ohio State matches up way better with TCU than Michigan does/did.

Doubt it. But who knows? They caught UGA sleeping ..

TCU is facing what K-State did, superior talent and depth undreamed of here. The brutal facts: its UGA, Bama and maybe tOSU, then another tier well below them that includes whatever teams you wish to place there. This championship game isn't embarrassing anyone, it's a sobering and brutal reality check.
I would add LSU in there on certain years. That state is so loaded. In football it's the SEC's top programs and tOSU when everything works perfect in Columbus, like once a decade or so. With the tv contracts it's going to remain that way and possibly be even worse for the Big 12 in the future. The chances of the Big 12 winning a NC in football is almost impossible and more teams in the playoff will make it even harder because you will have to go through multiple SEC teams.

Kudos to Georgia. They are about to do something that Alabama has never done (and that is rare in the SEC). The Bulldogs will finish 15-0 as LSU did in 2019 (The Burrow Year) too. The best Alabama has ever finished is 14-0 in 2009. The Tide have never been 15-0 though. They had a chance twice in 2016 and 2018, but they lost to Clemson in the CFP Championship Game both times. I don't like that!
