Correct, it’s going to require an undefeated season for them to put a B12 school in the playoff for the next couple seasons.
Even then, they might not be included. This, unfortunately, gives all the Big 12 haters some fuel. I already see PAC-12 people on Twitter saying this is why the Big 12 is the 5th best conference.

LOL the conference nobody sees. Oregon is good but their name brands just ran off to the B1G and took Los Angeles with them. Oregon is good but really they don't make the headlines all that much.

Yeah, I of course don’t believe that. The Big 12 is solid top to bottom and can do well with the third best conference and has a seat at the table in the new playoffs… But all the Big 12 haters will be in full force tonight.

We still have basketball though.

They were picked 7th in the Big 12 preseason for a reason. They were a great story and Dykes will have them towards the top of the league going forward, but they overachieved all year.

Tulane beat USC and Oregon had a game like this against Georgia at the beginning of the year. Not sure this is the hill Pac 12 homers should die on.

Heard on my drive home that on offense every starter for TCU was a 4th, 5th or 6 year player, on defense 9 of 11 were the same. TCU was playing with a lot of experienced players that were 22 to 24 years old. That is not going to happen next year for TCU.

Pac 12 Champ lost the Rose Bowl to the 3rd place team in the B1G East and lost @ Florida (6-7) for goodness sakes.

USC lost in the Cotton Bowl to Tulane from the AAC in an epic 4th quarter meltdown.

They were saying?
