I saw that photo somewhere on here (a different thread, maybe?) but the poster posted that it was a joke--photoshopped, and, well it clearly wasn't legit even if the poster had claimed otherwise.

There is a lot of room between "Sports Hate" and "Coddling him like a newborn" that most people fall into. I hope we can collectively get to "don't really care about him", because it means his loss wasn't the huge deal everyone thought it was 6 months ago. That's obviously too much to ask right now, but hopefully we can destroy Texas and get closer to that.
Bolton needed to go. The last thing we need is guys who can't even be bothered to get the ball over half court in 10 seconds with nobody on him.
In his defense though I wouldn't have been very motivated either with Steve Prohm coaching me. Hunter and Bolton are both punks and I hope the Hilton crowd lays into Tyrese thus week.

I thought the "traitor" chant directed at ol' what's his face that transferred to KU last year was pretty weak. I'm sure the students will let him have it Tuesday night. Hopefully it has the same effect as the Chuck McGary chants from the Michigan game.

My favorite part of all of this is there are actually people who believe TH was walking around Hilton after he left.... in his Texas jersey... with a basketball under his arm. Yeah, dont feel like JCL really deserved that. He has been in college ball for like 7 years and only played on bad teams
I actually felt kinda bad for Hunter last night. He looked lost for the majority of the game and got yanked in crunch time. I don’t think he really fits what Texas wants to do all that well.
I was upset when he decided to transfer. Slightly more when he decided to transfer to Texas. I’m not upset anymore though.
We had no idea what to expect at the most important position in the floor going into the season. The guy we thought was going to run the point most tore his ACL, and we knew the team would be relying on another freshman. A freshman that most were familiar with, since he is local, but unsure how his game would translate. He was also not rated nearly as high by recruiting services coming out of HS as Hunter was
Now…four games into the Big 12 season, though it did not take that long, fans should realize Lipsey fits what this team needs like a glove. Lipsey is awesome, the team has not taken a step back at all, and Hunter appears to be struggling.
It’s not hard for me to understand why people reacted and still react the way they did/do. Now though…who cares?

The reaction to Rasir transferring was more surprise in hearing that he had been asked to leave. It was the first time we had heard anything negative about him as a teammate.
Honestly, it worked out well for both parties. Rasir can't defend like TJ demands and his situation at Gonzaga is a better fit. Gonzaga is an offensive oriented team and he's surrounded by really good talents that allow him to be the 3rd or 4th option. He plays off the ball more and his shooting splits went way up.
