There were TJ critics that were pretty pissed about it. Especially when it started to leak on how the decision was made and that the opinion of his teammates were involved. Maybe it wasn't a majority, but there was a very vocal minority of TJ haters that liked to point to the Bolton stuff to criticize TJ until the team did so well it forced them to shut up about it.The reaction to Rasir transferring was more surprise in hearing that he had been asked to leave. It was the first time we had heard anything negative about him as a teammate.
Honestly, it worked out well for both parties. Rasir can't defend like TJ demands and his situation at Gonzaga is a better fit. Gonzaga is an offensive oriented team and he's surrounded by really good talents that allow him to be the 3rd or 4th option. He plays off the ball more and his shooting splits went way up.
