Is my phone not loading these correctly? I dont see anyone ripping on him where you linked.

Lets see. He:

Ghosted the program after the sweet 16 game

He and his brother referred to us as a broke ass program, feeding negitive recruting pitches to other schools who used that against us. It also played a role in costing us players like Bates, Basile, and Vander Plas who were pitched on playing with him

Vague booked about having beans to spill about us, still waiting on him to do so

The Gabe twitter deal

Lied constantly and consistently with no real reason to do so about why he left

All that is public info or verified by people who know(not premium info, btw. Need to make that clear)

And be straight here. Tyrese owes any value on his name to TJ. He came here to play Steve Prohms style of basically, which involves the PG getting heavy, heavy, heavy usage. How do we think a guy who averaged over 3 TOs a game and couldnt shoot anywhere on the floor is gonna work out in that system, especially when the only thing he was actually great at was defense. Everything else was potential based. TJs system highlighted what Tyrese was fantastic at while everything else needed to grow. So to not recognize that and be disrespectful to him going out the door over it too? Yeah, thats garbage behavior. If he tried to run Prohms style he would be untouchable by the programs with the dollars he so badly wanted to play for

Can you link the "broke ass program" and the negative recruiting stuff? I'm curious.

Is this in the works?

Hunter can seriously get f**ked. Gave up on this team to play second fiddle on a Texas team that is guaranteed to underachieve and a coach that beats his wife.

Hunter is good but undersized. Turns out he was very replaceable by a player who is a better fit for ISU

A LOT of people cared about Bolton leaving. If you think "not a single person did other than the anti TJ people" you're being naïve.

Never really cared that Bolton left. I was celebrating that we were getting rid of one of the worst basketball coaches in Iowa State history.

The first one was posted by a CF staff member. Think I got the wording wrong. Low budget program maybe? It was one of those 2. Same effect either way

The 2nd one I know to be true but cannot link for pretty clear reasons if you think on it for a second. Pay attention to how we were linked to things pre and post Hunter

How did he give up on this team?

Does that go for anyone else that leaves the program?

We're at a point where fake memes and words that weren't actually said are actually influencing peoples opinion of someone. Maybe we should just be bigger people?

Well, and I'm sure I'll get flamed for writing it, which in a way proves my point, but we are one of the most insecure fanbases in the whole damn country.

You won't get flamed by me. Even if a term of "low budget" was used it may hurt feelings but it's kinda true. We don't have as much money as our peers. What we accomplish with it is pretty damn awesome though, and that's because of leadership and passion.

Well, rest assured none of it's true.

His replacement is a baller. I think that it is fairly obvious that our coach is second to none at player development … at least in my biased view.
That may be true but having seen Lipsey in maybe half a dozen games in high school, I was excited to see him as a Cyclone and wasn’t sure why there wasn’t more hype around here for him. I suppose some injuries may have dampened the enthusiasm but given what our options were at point, no way he wasn’t starting. Were people just wanting a point more like Hunter and not a more traditional point like Lipsey?

I felt the same way with Dougie McBuckets when I specifically went and watched Harrison Barnes. Doug wasn't "trimmed up" but he was a really good high school player. After they played a Pella school at Wells Fargo, my wife thought he was the best player on the floor.

I think was at that game at WF also. McDermott looked like the better all around basketball player to me and Barnes looked like a better athlete.

Yeah, that's a good way to put it.
Ames also had a really, really short guard that I thought was pretty decent. Not as good as Bubu but could play.

I think the state finals when they were seniors was the most crowded that place has ever been when I have been there. Guessing wrestling gets pretty crowded too given the number of different schools involved.
