Define "decent". It's via mediacom. Over the past 20 years we've had to replace ALL of the wiring in and outside the house including the junction box. We've replaced the router numerous times (most recently was about a month ago, and because we replaced it our TIVO immediately refused to recognize it. Took them several days to get back out here & reprogram the TIVOs (yes, WE tried to reset the main box but were unsuccessful).
We have too much slope and too many trees for a line of sight for a dish. We looked into it but the best place to put it is over 100 yards from the house which comes with its own set of issues. We are resigned to making the best of it with Mediacom. You give up a few things when you live on a wooded acreage, and I'm not willing to move back into town for better internet.
