Ok, that's great but I'm telling you personally I have bad luck with it. I watch First Take and Get Up every morning and it's constantly freezing on me. I've tried deleting and reinstalling who knows how many times.

I have a bunch of other apps i watch sports on also and I don't have issues with them.
I've tried deleting First Take too, but it never seems to work...

ESPN+ is a free sign on here through our cable service. Might check your cable provider first
as well before buying a subscription.

I made a thread on this a few days ago. I caved and subscribed. We are pretty good this year, so probably worth the purchase as a ton of our games are on it. My first experience with it against Tech was good. Seemed to have a good picture. Announcers were awful with names, but that’s going to happen with lower tier announcers.

I'm 99.9999999% sure that you're confusing ESPN+ with ESPN3. Both on the ESPN app. ESPN+ is a paid subscription by the consumer. ESPN3 is a 'perk' that your cable/ISP 'pays' for and gives to you with their service.

The Big 12 does not have any games on ESPN3, just to clear that up.

What that means is if you sign into ESPN+ with your provider, it will give you all the content available with your provider, ie ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNNews etc on the app.

You will still need to subscribe to ESPN+ to have access to the ESPN+ Content on the APP. You will still have access to all the content available through your provider, on demand, but not the extra content through PLUS unless you subscribe.

This is how people are able to view all the ESPN content on the APP. They log into the app with their provider. Thus allowing all content available to them in the App.

To add to this BS - I couldn't even watch the TT game the other night. I have ESPN+ bundled with Hulu Live. Every time I launched the game, it buffered and then reported some error "We're having trouble streaming this a the moment" with an OK button. F you! It's NOT okay!

I was able to stream other ESPN+ games but not the ISU one. Was happy to follow the tweets and watch highlights the next day, but c'mon!
I had this same issue.

No, not saying you won't have to refresh your log in occasionally, but I think it was at least year for me needing to relog in, and the only reason I had to was I changed my passwords.

It might even have been longer for me. But I also use Hulu+Live so that may keep my log in to the App current too, as they seem to work in concert. Not sure though. Some things I feel its easier to go to the app and search/watch some its easier to watch straight from Hulu, so I use both regularly and dont have to relog in ever if extremely rarely.

Hate to say it, but I love ESPN+ just because there’s a ton of rando sports crap I like to watch, not to mention all the ISU MBB and WBB.

My daughter knows girls that play in the valley and other mid major/ low majors. I’ve got a relative that played football for SDSU. Watching random stuff like that is pretty common in my house.

I have Hulu+Live if I remember I watched it straight through Hulu, not one hiccup. Was flawless.

Sometimes this can be internet issues, not the App. Google search the error code might give you an idea what the issue is.

Edit: I used to get errors etc. Until I upgraded internet. And Upgraded router. Now once in a while but not like before.

The one thing I dont get about people is people whining about having to switch to the espn+ app? Once you go into the sports section all you have to do is go to recent watched. It isnt hard and I dont get why people can't figure this out.

I like going to the ESPN App and then just searching Iowa State. It brings up all the Iowa State content currently available and upcoming.

I have watched so much more ISU sports that I never have before. Sure some might be after the fact but if I dont religiously pay attention to some scores I can go in and watch replays, live Volleyball, Wrestling, Soccer, Softball, and other sports that I just would not see or follow if it wasnt for having ESPN+. And I can see all of it on demand, when I have a chance to.

Plus I can watch one thing live on my laptop and one live on my TV like this weekend the 49ers and the Mens BB at the same time.

Agreed...but we're stuck out here in the boonies. No place to put a dish, and Mediacom is the only provider without having a dish. :(

Ya that sucks, my boss is in the same position. He lives a little south of Luther and he has no choice.

Do you have decent Internet?
Define "decent". It's via mediacom. Over the past 20 years we've had to replace ALL of the wiring in and outside the house including the junction box. We've replaced the router numerous times (most recently was about a month ago, and because we replaced it our TIVO immediately refused to recognize it. Took them several days to get back out here & reprogram the TIVOs (yes, WE tried to reset the main box but were unsuccessful).

We have too much slope and too many trees for a line of sight for a dish. We looked into it but the best place to put it is over 100 yards from the house which comes with its own set of issues. We are resigned to making the best of it with Mediacom. You give up a few things when you live on a wooded acreage, and I'm not willing to move back into town for better internet. :D

Sorry about your issues with Mediacom. Having lived (and still do nearly half the year) in Iowa for many decades and had Mediacom I can say without reservation - Be damned glad you don't live in an area with Comcast/Xfinity as your only cable/internet option. They make Mediacom look good.
