There's a lot of stupid to choose from in this thread but this might be the stupidest.
Fennelly teams are easy picking for guys like Blair and Schafer. Has he ever beat either of them?
Not panicking at all. It’s like some of you have never learned. Texas flat out owns us and Bill. We do not match up with them in any way. These games look the exact same every single time. Move on and get the ones we should get. We aren’t beating UT at home unless we just go unconscious from 3, but their physicality limits getting decent looks. It’s just the way this matchup goes. We hope it will be different every time and it’s not.
I’m with you. They need a really friendly first 2 games to make it to the sweet 16 this year. Anyone with a pulse for defense will give us a game.

Vick snuck in for part of one game then disappeared again, I'm not sure what her injury is at 1st I thought it was her hand maybe it still is I have no idea. I thought Izzy did alright for as little experience as she has.
She did okay for getting thrown into the action like that. Was getting killed there on defense in the 4th quarter. She did set some good screens and had a four boards. That one assist she had was a good one, had a couple of other good passes to and two steals. This was more than double the minutes she's ever clocked in a game. She averaged about 4 minutes a quarter.
agree. S. Soares would help with rebounding/scoring, but States issues run much deeper. not only are the players (as a whole unit) not physical, but their skills need work. these women do not use a jump stop, shoot a jump shot, pump fake for a blow-by, know how to use the glass, know how to execute a 2 on 1 break, know how to protect a shot using their body...... the list of skills they need to work on next summer is very long. while addressing skills -- the team desperately needs an entry pass set in their offense and some type of motion offense. Emily should not be expected to dribble all over the front court until she can find an open player. without an offense, strong defensive teams, such as TX, will smother them.
So many issues that aren't related to Texas at all:
Stepping over the line while trying to inbound the ball.
Running the baseline when you're not allowed to.
Other teams' players charge wildly into the paint and draw the foul on the defense while we gently back down the defender only to inevitably get our shot blocked.

That’s what you call be taken out of your game. They got in our players' heads and that leads to those stupid mistakes.
