The article went into it pretty good. Oklahoma state coach left the coaching area and got the team dinged a point. Our wrestler shook hands and left the mat, but it wasn't the official handshake with the official, so we got dinged a point for unsportsmanlike conduct
Are you sure it wasn't because Dresser came on the mat after Smuth did? Very confusing.
Yes. Dresser explained it just as 8bitnes described it in his presser.
Il looks like Swiderski was also penalized a point for kicking at the end (unnecessary roughness)

One of the best pressers I've seen. Among other things, Dresser addressed the situation at 133 (Ramazon has apparently been hurt so still not settled. Redding will be the guy this weekend). Bastida was banged up going into the weekend. Fuessley was a walk-on at Iowa State (didn't know that and what a great story that is). The team is lauded for working hard. Respects Coach Smith (my take), as he should.
