Interesting, I was debating get a snowmobile in 2020 but decided not to because snow hasn’t been staying around long. I’m not north enough
There is "snow covered" and then there is "snow covered adequately for snowmobiling". Two very different quantities for each of those.

Exactly. I live 10 minutes from the Minnesota border and we're lucky to have 3-4 weeks of "adequate for snowmobiling" conditions lately.

My apps keep going back and forth between 1-3" and 4-9" and the storm ending early Thursday or lasting until Thursday evening.

Makes a huge difference in how we respond.

We have "old" family on Northern VA/ SE WV border. Said for the first time in their lives they haven't got any snow.
