Even if we won it was just not enjoyable. Guys played their guts out but the officiating made it damn near unwatchableI frankly like it better when we win. We should tell the guys to win more.

Lipsey is still a freshman and he's doing freshman things in a high-pressure environment5 turnovers in the first 6 minutes would be my guess.
Comes back with a bloody nose and black eye. Actually, these guys are giving their all and exceding my expectations. I'm not dissapointed at all. Great representatives for my alma mater.somebody has to tell them. we nominate you, @CYDJ![]()
KU hangover or just sloppy play?

Yet he was still majorly the reason we even had a chance to win
They just lost their starting point guard for the year. That game is terrifying. OSU is tough, better defensively than ISU and getting better on offense.
Must not have been around for the upset of Georgetown. No you are right. My point being, and if anyone thinks I don’t care about winning the conference title that would be very false, is that winning a conference title is no guarantee of anything in March. Because to your point IF you **** the bed and lose in the first round well that season loses a ton of luster. It just does. It doesn’t actually take anything away from the conference title but the tournament is where it’s at and where true memories are made. If we ever get to see our men make the Final Four this site will actually melt down and crash forever. And if we somehow played in the championship and won it to see One Shining Moment with our Cyclones being the lasting image? I’m good never winning the conference.
Look at Purdue. They have had some damn good teams lately, including Big Ten titles in ‘17 and ‘19. No Final Fours since 1980 I believe. Let’s see if they can do it this year, but if they don’t that will eat away at their fans. Villanova went through this for a long time where they always came up short in the tournament until Jay Wright finally got them over the hump and took it all the way twice. Good friend is a Nova grad and he said getting to the Final Four was so amazing and then winning it was just the most surreal thing ever.
I agree, and I’m not saying that’s why they lost, I’m saying that was the reason for the slow start. Tamin has been having little stretches of carelessness with the ball recently, this one just happened to be right at the top of the game for about 6 minutes or so.
We need Gabe to recapture start of conference season Gabe. He's been not great on offense the last couple games
They were face guarding Gabe and playing 4x4 on that end of the court. Plus our offense doesn’t purposely create many looks for him. He gets them from his off ball movement and ball movement which is pretty easy to negate by face guarding him.We need Gabe to recapture start of conference season Gabe. The group in general can get careless with the ball throughout. It's a thing they do and I'm not sure it gets fixed.
Probably fair. I kept waiting for him to come back to earth but he just kept playing so well for so many games that I thought maybe something clicked.Odds are he was going to come back down. We have 4.5 years of percentages to go off of, and as much as I hoped he would keep it up, it was never likely. Not to mention, teams will key much harder on him now. They need him to be a difference maker, hopefully he can do it.
He wasn’t. Born in ‘88.Must not have been around for the upset of Georgetown.
Seriously? What happened? They just lost their starting point guard for the year.
Wrist surgery today.Seriously? What happened?
Ah yes. That’s substantial though. He averaged 11 a game I think. No wonder TT hung in it til the buzzer tonight.Wrist surgery today.
