Unfortunately this will likely be affected by the refs.... and we all know that never favors the road team. Unless you are KU.
Not every game is on the refs. Players make way more mistakes during a game then refs, people just choose to blame refs because it’s easier.

Sucks Grill isn't good to go but he was a net negative last game so I'd rather have him sit and get right than just struggle to play the rest of the year

Not saying our guys aren't hungry, but KState is desperate for a win after road woes. The 3 pt numbers will improve at home. KState 69- ISU 61.
Crap, Grill out. Change that to KState 72- ISU 59. Regardless of his latest woes, he usually plays well in his home state and it really hurts our depth with him out. Hopefully I can post later that "I'm a fool" ......again.

Probably gonna see more Demarion Watson today, which has to potential to help in certain ways.

Obviously prefer a healthy Grill, but Watson has usually been good or neutral when he gets his opportunities. That's all you can ask from a Freshman. Just don't hurt the team when it's your time and pick your spots.

If the Clones pull this one out we will improve to 2-0 while I have covid. Looking for a perfect season!
Can you sustain the Covid through the NCAA tournament?;) Hope you are doing ok!

I can’t remember, is Tang the coach that stopped the clock by getting a coaching box warning, or was that some other team? He’s no Bruce Weber out there defending the fast break but I seem to recall him annoying me.

Ignoring mistakes, the refs do have an impact on how a game is played. If they are calling it tight, it's a definite disadvantage to pressure defense teams. If they let things go underneath, it favors physical teams. So it's beyond just whether they miss a call, the style is hugely important to a team like ISU.
