That’s interesting…maybe that’s TJ’s leadership style, but I have a hard time believing that TJ re-created a Survivor Tribal Council and then snuffed out CG’s torch once the votes were in…

TJ is a leader- he’s didn’t take a vote and then kick him off the team. TJ and his coaches made a decision.

They first voted on whether or not Osun got a vote, then they vote on Caleb, then they voted on dinner.

Shoon decided not to play it safe and risked his vote, so he lost his vote at the next two tribal councils unless he can get all of the MBB managers to give him a bead from their satchels.

Shoon is saying today that he had no say in the decision and that it was between TJ and Caleb?
Correct. The decision to dismiss Caleb from the team was between TJ and Caleb. It was just a matter of when and how the announcement would take place.

That’s what I’ve been trying to say. People have been saying “TJ should’ve made the decision to boot him or not, not leave it up to the players!” TJ did make the decision to boot him from the team - it was the guys on the team that decided it doesn’t make sense for him to hang around the rest of the season and be a distraction

Apparently nobody informed Shoon, maybe he was in the bathroom.

Wasn’t Grill sharing an apartment with someone else on the team? This whole vote thing would be weird if any of these guys are still living with him.

I assume they want to get him out of town.

I assume he is still enrolled. Maybe taking online classes during basketball?

I assume he already has his bachelors degree. So he's probably taking grad classes and my guess is that he doesn't have to be in Ames for those.

I’m not sure what’s confusing for some of you. It’s really not a difficult concept to understand

I had similar reaction, which I posted, but then deleted, mainly since I have no direct knowledge about the situation. It wasn't that I didn't believe the summary you posted, only that it seemed "unorthodox" approach as far as decision & team's input.

I’ll admit I’m still confused. Shoon said he had no input on the decision. You’re saying he had no input on the decision but he and the other players did on Caleb’s exit timeline?

Long story short, Grill was given two options..he chose the option to stay with the team until the end of the season (knowing he wasn’t going to play “because of his back”) then would leave on his own accord, but the team felt like he would be a distraction and unanimously voted him off to leave the team now.

So the captain of the ship sat him down and gave him TWO OPTIONS.....jump in the water or stay.

He choses to stay......the crew finds out says f you so the captain says sorry, I forgot to tell you about that third option, and pushes him over?

This is fun.

Is TJ a pirate in this scenario? If so, does he have a peg leg? Coaching with a parrot on his shoulder would be very cool….
