A game of confidence & wills. Totally out willed them today. I get the feel Baylor absolutely hates playing against us. Kept with us for one half & several minutes, but then wilted under our will. Frickin' awesome. F Baylor
Yeah, Bridges was throwing in everything he touched to go up 8, and we just kept coming until we erased the deficit and were up 9 ourselves. That really broke their will.

That was TCU last year. Dominated first game took 1 seed to OT second game.

OK State is going to be SERIOUSLY underseeded too if lots of these pundits are accurate having them as almost last team in.
My only concern about them is their offensive lulls. If they draw a high-powered offensive squad first round and aren’t hitting the high number of dogsh*t late shot clock threes that they normally do, they could be a quick out. But undeniably a dangerous team.

Bridges totally disappeared the last 10 min of the game. W/him effectively neutralized, Baylor's big 3 of Flagler/Cryer/George just don't seem physical enough to get loose against Cyclone's tough perimeter defenders and no-middle defensive scheme.

I think Watson deserves some of the credit for that. I wasn't able to watch what was happening off the ball the whole time, but it seemed like Watson came in when his run stopped, and the first thing he did was erase a shot by him.

If this is directed at me, it's hilarious. The same 5 idiots go through threads and comment on any 'negative' comment made while completely ignoring positive comments. Veloclown literally goes through threads to quote or 'dumb' a negative comment. Not once has he ever responded or tagged a positive comment.

Pretty pathetic to go through message board posts simply to cherry pick comments. It's comical.
Good to know. Thanks for the information.

Another post has a Twitter thread by Travis Hines that says Bridges did not attempt a shot in the last 10 minutes of the game. That's shocking! How is it that a guy with a super hot hand could not get loose for a single FG attempt when the game is being decided? That's the ball game right there.

On a related note, I'm loving how Watson/Tre King/Ward are stepping into Grill's minutes in various and unexpected ways.

I can't confirm or deny what you said, but I just want to echo the praise of Watson. If I remember right, his three blocks were all on perimeter jump shots, which is kind of crazy.

ISU would gain more by beating KU and a loss wouldn't affect seeding much in my opinion. Not can be said the same about beating/losing West Virginia.

I get this. But honestly, we've been saying this for the last 6 weeks when we were a 2/3 seed... all the way down to a 6/7 seed.

Glad we got another big win.
