Probably. But there have been a LOT of games where players have just gone off against us and we all say that they can't miss and they are having the game of their lives. It isn't always that.
But, the bigger point here is that IT was a good effort and a pretty solid game. And nothing to worry about.

It’ll be extremely interesting to see what transfers we get (early connected info indicates TJ has one or two REAL NICE HANDLERS) and what kind of impact a couple freshmen can have on this offense.

Kansas is really good. We just couldn’t speed them up and they were super solid defensively. No harm done. Hope for a good draw.

I don't know. It wasn't great when we faced an 11 seed Ohio State. I sort of maybe want a team that hasn't seen the level of competition we've had.
I'd take a bracket filled with only Big10 teams right now.
I'm chalking it up to Kirk Haaland tweeting that we either lose in the first round of the tournament or win the whole damn thing. WE WERE ALL THINKING THAT, BUT MOST OF US WERE SMART ENOUGH NOT TO SAY IT.
All in all, in the tournament, you just face whatever the draw gives you. High major teams are going to physically match up with us. Mid-majors won't, but probably play more cohesive ball. Just have to have a next up mentality, and play our game.
Too many missed shots by us. Ku defense was good. They had shooters pick up the slack and ours didn't.

The effort was there. Tonight we got beat by the better team. I actually think we played fairly well. We didn't hit shots. KU played fairly well better.
From Captain Obvious: Gonna need Kunc. Felt bad for him tonight. He’ll be back. Also,for this team to be in this position is testament to hard work. Going into the season,did not know if this talent would hold up and through effort they deserve to be in the tourney.
That Ohio State team sucked. Prohm was our coach and embarrassed himself in that one. This team wouldn’t lose to a team like that.

Whatever happens next week I feel confident that this group isn't going to play like 1/2 the players have their bags packed which is hopefully a plus.
