If we are allowed to play the way Mississippi State was allowed to play, which was very physical, we should have no problems with Pitt.

If it’s called tight…all bets are off.

In the first round especially they let the games be more physical. The refs know these games are on a schedule and can't be 2.5/3 hour games when they have 4 games at a venue to get through.

Pitt is who I wanted us to play, I don't like it when we play good defensive teams like MSU. Clones will lock them up on the defensive side, and Pitt's D won't be able to slow us down enough. Clones win by 8.
but they just got 40 minutes of good NCAA tournament grind it out possession by possession game. They have held 7 opponents to 60 points or less, so they are capable of playing that way. They beat Virginia 68-65. Have a nice win over Miami and a very close loss to Miami. I think Pitts potential or ceiling is higher than MSU, so I wanted MSU.

Well we're the better team. If the refs get whistle happy we're in for a dog fight.......

And that’s absolutely right! You saw that with MSU particularly in the first half with Pittsburgh. The Bulldogs were kind of getting in foul trouble and I automatically envisioned our game with the Mountaineers in Morgantown. If we can shore that category up in particular, I feel REALLY, REALLY good. Also, winning the rebounding game will be huge too.

Watching MSU’s defense, they really impressed me. To be honest, looked a great deal like us!

Don’t have to worry about facing that.

Yeah but they weren't on the time crunch Thurs/Fri games will be. Plus they started out whistle happy but as the game went on they let it get pretty physical.
SEMO also committed about 50 fouls. Most of the calls were ones that had to be made because they were so damn obvious. Nothing like our game at WVU.

ISU committed far less fouls the last three games of the year and I'm not sure why(Grill, tournament refs, focus on moving the feet, etc)??
