Holy crap - a 15 has upset a 2 in the last 3 tournaments

At one point do we accept this as a norm?

It happened 2-3 times before that over the last few years, with two happening on the same day in 2012.

I think it’s a testament to how far the game has grown. There’s good players at all levels now.

I wonder if the play in games have any effect on that. By moving a couple more teams down into playin games a couple of the 15 seeds would probably have been 14 seeds before those games existed. There is often a steep fall off as we get towards the bottom, but usually the 14 seeds have enough in them to pull off some upsets here and there
