Working on my tidbits for the day. Tony Bennett for Virginia is 7-8 except for the year they one the championship. (And they pulled some of those games out of nowhere.)

I watched Bennett's press conference. They were asking him about that. I wonder if this is the year he moves on. Texas might have a better shot at him than I thought.

All that’s left for a perfect day is for Texas to lose… and of course they’re shooting 65% from three while the best 3 point shooting team in Division 1 is shooting 30%.

Iowa losing is great but Texas hitting all of their shots is a downer. I cannot believe that Colgate continues to leave rice open.

Thats's just how NCAA games are determined. Until we get rid of Wilson we have to accept it.

lose connor, murray, rebracca

Rebracca is going to be a big loss unless they have a strong physical player I don't know about. They get absolutely boat raced today without him. Nobody else could bang inside with Auburn at all.

Connor not eating point guard minutes might be a surprising boost though. Don't tell me somebody who passes as often and shoots as rarely as Connor isn't playing some version of point guard. He's not a forward and he's went entire seasons without shooting so not a shooting guard.

Not exactly sure.
Which one enters the portal and comes back this year? Big smuckers did last year. Ash the year before.

I don't feel bad for Iowa but it really sucks for Houston that they have to play Auburn that close to their campus. A 1 seed shouldn't have to deal with that in the first round.

They got to play #1 seed Arizona in Texas as a 5 seed last year.

A lot of Texas teams tend to play in Texas a ton (or at least it seems like it to me). When Baylor was first rebuilding after the murder they played in Texas three years in a row without ever having a great seed.
