Literally everyone played bad and we looked completely unprepared to start the game. Idk what I just watched.
I think there might need to be game for there to be a postgame thread, but I'm not an expert.
If you told me the day TJ was hired we'd be 2/2 on making the tournament with a 2-2 record (a Sweet Sixteen though being booted in the first round once), then I would have been ******* estatic at the time.
The future is bright. Lots of work to do this spring with the transfer portal and this summer with integrating the new guys into the roster and culture, but TJ has built two tournament teams in the past two springs with resources approximating the value of a stick of gum and some paperclips. This is still lots of fun!

Everyone in the program should be embarrassed. They should give back the new shoes and sweat-suites. What a joke.
Good season! Coaches need to look at what happened over the past 6 weeks (save Baylor). They've got to figure out some adjustments late in the season. It's not all because the players suck.

At some point every single guy had lost any confidence that they could make a shot. Trying to shoot a basketball when you have no belief it will go in is impossible.
Worst experience I have had watching an Iowa state basketball game. Thinking we had a chance and doing that crap
Making the tournament is inherently fun.
Bad game to end things, but look at the body of work.
Ready to see if who they can land in the portal to give them some offensive firepower.

I want to rant & purge, but mostly I just feel numb. I hate when season is over regardless of the details. I don't feel like watching any more games today, although generally I get over that at some point.
Basically, the game was summary of this team's worst tendencies. Wish it could've been "delayed" another round or two. But whenever we got bounced, it was going to be for at least some of the reasons we saw today. I don't know if I expected EVERY worst tendency to come into play in a single game, but ...

I remember last year some analysis discussion on the number of games we struggled to break 40 or 50 pts in a game. Appears those ghosts still exist and here we are ending the season in a game we barely broke 40. Disappointing that wasn't fixed this year.
Some really high highs and really low lows. Quite the roller coaster season
I need some crazy tournament games to happen quick to get this out of the news cycle.
I'm disappointed to say the least. There's always a decent chance we're going to lose this game, but I did not expect it to be completely non-competitive for 30 out of 40 minutes. Missed shots are one thing, but what I'm most surprised by is how poorly we played defensively to start that game.
Good season overall, but I feel terrible for how our seniors went out. They deserved better than that.
Lots to work on in the off-season, and plenty of motivation to work on it.
