Clark is homely.
I'm sure she would clean up fairly well. The only way you see her is out there working her butt off on the court. She is no beauty queen, but there are a lot less attractive WBB players out there. I never really watch her play a lot, but I am so impressed with the way she plays on the offensive side and as much as I don't like their coach, she did a great job of getting them through the tournament.

I was rooting for iowa. I think they got screwed by the refs. Not sure if it would’ve mattered because LSU was playing fantastic basketball. I would’ve loved to watch that game without those amateur clown refs ruining the game.

Not exactly sure.
And that's by accident, mostly. I'm not a cop. I put the hog head on my avatar because I was told that everyone living in Iowa (regardless of their profession or beliefs) is a "backwards subsidy hog". I took exception.
Darn straight, you might chase ambulances but you aren’t a subsidy hog. ;).

Didn’t watch the game. Did Clark do any of her obnoxious ” you can’t see me“, wave off “I don’t need to guard you,” or chicken wing flexes?
I didn't watch live. Waited till the loss was confirmed then did ESPN+ replay. Only took 1:45 instead of 2:40 by skipping the commercials and halftime.

Hey at least this was a one off with Mulkey for Iowa. Imagine playing her teams 2 or even 3 times a year.

Iowa fans can go cry in their hawkeye beer vodka:
FIFY, Hawkeye Vodka is just like their sportsmanship, might get the job done but it will come back to bite you in the arse.

If I was the LSU coach, I would have really considered starting the lineup that finished the first half. They were hot and Iowa couldn’t stop them. You are up 17, let Carson and the crew see if they are still lathered up and rolling.

I'll give you best right now but best all time? I think a few players from Tennessee and UCONN would have some issues with that.

I was just jumping into some stats and I think it's fair to say CC had at least the second best tournament in terms of statistical output.

Cheryl Swoops took Texas Tech all the way averaging 4 points more per game but because of format she got one less game played. I do remember seeing her in those days on SportsCenter and being amazed at how easy she made it look, only time I can remember being into womens basketball as a kid/teen.

Iowa set another record this afternoon. Gave up the most points in the history of women's NCAA title games.

I was cheering for LSU, but I have to say my hat is off to Clark and Iowa. Yes, they got to enjoy home cooking the first two games of the tournament, but they certainly earned their way to the title game by beating South Carolina. Clark is a once in a lifetime player. Once she's gone, it's gonna be back to reality for the lady Hawkeyes.
You have to know your audience. These Iowa fans are long time, deep rooted ardent women's basketball fans . . . . that is why most of the public comments I have seen state the Iowa GIRL'S basketball team. You know, because these fans have been following this sport and team for years!

Swoopes was huge in the day. It’s the only player that you would hear HS kids talk about.

All the stats in the world are nice but if part of those stats doesn't include a national title that is a difference maker.

I think you could say Larry Bird was every bit as impressive if as Magic Johnson when you factor in supporting cast of Indiana State vs Michigan State.

I'm not a womens basketball expert but it was pretty obvious Clark elevated her teammates against a team with much more talent in South Carolina.
