That was right at the team hotel. Gonzaga was also staying there and I saw Mark Few take the leap after they won the title.

It was pretty funny seeing Rui at the pool bar. That was right at the team hotel. Gonzaga was also staying there and I saw Mark Few take the leap after they won the title.
I was there in 2018 and had a great time. My wife and I put this on our calendar more than a year ago when there was discussion about it and they listed attendees for the next three years.
The tournament is great and I would also comment that the all session tickets are the way to go, but definitely expensive. Too much good basketball will be played to miss including kicking SDSU by 30 the last time. We are in Hawaii every two years and just left Maui when the tournament started in November last fall. FYI, prices are substantially higher now than in 2018 so expect sticker shock. Also, don't expect to get there and find tickets for ISU games. It just won't happen.

Can you get all session? For some reason thought the only way to get tickets was thru the school. Any suggestion for how to approach getting any (assume ISU's allotment goes by Cyclone Club rank?)
In 2018, we bought the Maui Jim Tournament package, which was 4 nights hotel and all 12 games for around $5,500. For 2023, there was a 5 night minimum stay as a part of the package and it has been sold out for quite a while. You can register online at Maui Jim Invitational and you get announcements and alerts when sales are starting. Can you get all session? If I remember you can get all session tickets as part of the school package. You had ticket options, School Package, only your schools games and much cheaper then a few all session packages which were much pricier but included 12 games. Can you get all session? You talking about just tickets or the school hotel ticket package.Somewhere, I heard the 10/12 game package was in excess of $3500...is that correct?
I believe that is for tickets only, directly from the Tourney. They sell 1/2 the tickets as all session. the other tickets go to the schools to divy out.You talking about just tickets or the school hotel ticket package.
Probably about right. I know that you could upgrade to all session tickets I think when you bought the ISU tickets but I may be remembering wrong. I know that it cost about an extra 900 bucks per person to upgrade to a real seat for the school package.I believe that is for tickets only, directly from the Tourney. How many tickets are allotted per team? For those that have gone, is the package through ISU (to be announced later) worth looking into?
I don't know the number but it's not a lot, the gym is tiny. Went in 2018 but didn't get it into any games. Scalpers are slim to none and the prices are high for the few there are. The ISU tickets go fast and I think it's prioritized by donor level. Going again in 2024 and will probably do the same thing. We just VRBO'd a house for 2 weeks and it was amazing. How many tickets are allotted per team?
I presume the ISU ones are all accounted for rather quickly given how well we travel. For those that have gone in the past is this true?
I don't know what you'll see for package prices, but we go to Maui for a couple months every winter and prices have exploded since Covid hit. We have an "in" so we're lucky. If renting a car do it ASAP and then put in on AutoSlash to have them check for better deals. Lots of hotels going for $1000 a night. Look on VRBO, AirBnB and then find a rental agency that has the same properties and book with them to avoid a lot of fees. Your plane ticket will be the cheapest part of the deal.I don't know the number but it's not a lot, the gym is tiny. Went in 2018 but didn't get it into any games. With the time difference and broadcast schedule you could watch ISU and still have plenty of time for other activities. The local tip-off times for the 2022 tournament were 9:30 AM, 12:00 PM, 4:00 PM and the latest game was 6:30 PMI hope everyone goes and cheers on the boys. However, If I go to Maui, there is zero chance I would want to go watch basketball. More power to everyone else though.
