  • Beginning with the 2023 football season, all donor lots will open 6 hours prior to kickoff, but not earlier than 6 a.m. For games that kick off at 4 p.m. or later, donor lots will open at 10 a.m.
I believe the old rule was donor lots open at 7 AM or 6 hours prior, whichever is earlier. Minor impact to 11 AM game times (one hour less). Bigger impact to evening game times (3 hours less).

More incentive to get into the RV Village on Fridays!

I didn't immediately notice the lot number change. We've been in C-4 as long as I can remember, outside of the couple years we got bumped up to C-5. Now the C-4 is the old C-5, guess I'll be shooting for C-3(PO?) And saving up for the RV for 2024 (not likely.) Which gets me thinking, are there regulations on what constitutes an RV, other than max length? I can sleep in my truck, but imagine that wouldn't be allowed? What about a conversion van or old ambulance?

You can park whatever you want in the RV lot as long as it doesnt exceed the max length.

Question for all of you: Let's say we have a 11am start time... how many of you stay and tailgate AFTER the game? When are donors asked to leave the lots? Is there a certain time the lots close and everyone must vacate?

We've stayed in the lot for quite a while(well beyond when SALT Company came thru for trash) and have never been asked to leave. If there is a certain time, I'd guess it's subective to the day and what is happening.

Straight in parking along with a 10 foot open fire lane is going to be an issue for some people who insist on driving those behemoths to the lots. Might want to consider a smaller vehicle.

Construction is definitely going to put exterior spots with grass backups at a premium even more than they have been previously.

It looks like the new D lots will have more grass spots than previous, based on the way the new spots are being marked out.

Not exactly sure.
I’ll drive my Mini and leave the truck at home
Usually the worst when you have a vehicle and you get a couple pickups/suburbans next to you while also crowding and then an extra long pickup behind you. Almost have to wait for one to leave to get out. Nice thing about straight parking is you can drive through and get out easier.

Do any of you have any insight on general public RV parking. We used to be at VetMed but it looks like they are parking cars there instead. Not all of us peasants can afford the RV Village.

Wasn't that already in use last fall?

Not sure when it became official but it's been in use for a long time some camper friends of mine used to park there. They have dropped out entirely now due to health issues. This is their 1st year with no FB tickets at all.
